St. Stephen CDA Marks 10th Anniversary

The Christian Daughters Association (CDA) of the St. Stephen Parish at Darkuman in Accra marked its 10th anniversary of establishment with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Church.

As part of the celebrations, the Association presented five Water Closet set valued at Ghc 5, 700 in support of the Church’s Parish Hall project.

During the past ten years, the Association has assisted the Parish in various ways including providing a projector, offering educational scholarships to bright but needy children, providing television sets for the Children Service and visiting the Aged.

The President of the Association, Ms. Faustina Sarbah, in her speech, acknowledged the hard work of the past and present co-ordinators of the Association, past Presidents, Executives and the entire membership for their enormous dedication. She encouraged members to always pray through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and also show commitment to the Association and the Church.

The event brought together past and present members of the Association.
